Dr. John Stewart, after being diagnosed as pre-diabetic, decided to take charge of his life by starting to eat healthy. He has been rewarded with now normal fasting blood glucose values and a Body Mass Index of 22. He is an advocate of intermittent fasting and finds his periods in ketosis bring him improved mental clarity. His training in nutrition, physiology, pathology, microbiology, and pharmacology as a veterinarian has allowed him an appreciation of cross-species differences between humans and other mammals. He has spent thousands of hours looking at the latest nutrition research and interacting with scientists and healthcare workers.

Katherine is a warrior for healthy eating, exercise and meditation. She is a registered occupational therapist who finished dux of her class graduating with first class honours. She is also a showjumping rider who as a teenager represented Australia at the World children’s showjumping championships. Katherine walks the talk regarding her low carb high healthy fat eating and is a great role model admired by her friends for overcoming setbacks she has faced.

Runner up New Zealand GP of the year in February 2020, Glen has done great work in the Taupo population assisting particularly the Maori community with reversing type 2 Diabetes and obesity. After graduating from the Otago Medical School in New Zealand, he spent 2.5 years working in a mission hospital in Papua New Guinea. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and has done ground breaking work using ketosis as a tool for Diabetes reversal and Chronic fatigue syndrome.
